If set, automatically saves documents as yourFile.md.saved.bak in the same folder as the original document. Untitled documents are saved to %temp%\untitled.saved.md.

Backup files are deleted when files are saved or closed and can be recovered if MM crashes. MM automatically asks if you want to load from backup if the backup file exists.

Backup files are not visible in the Folder Browser by default. Use Show All Files in the toolbar or open the folder in Explorer.
